Plot Summary

The peaceful community of Amity Island is being terrorized by sharks during the hot summer. When the town's new Sheriff Chief Brody discover the mangled body of a vacationer, his first tendency is to close the beaches to the tourist. But Mayor Vaughan is reluctant to lose the money that is brought by the tourism of the beaches. The next victim to fall into the prey of the shark is a little boy which his mother would later put a bounty on the shark. Then, a hunter with much more experience whose name goes by Quint offers to kill the shark with a hefty sum of money. Soon, Quint, Brody and Matt from the Oceanographic Institute are hunting the big shark in the sea, ready to do what it takes to kill the shark.
